  1. Shorter span must measure at least 50% of longest span. Otherwise use simple span chart.
  2. Minimum end bearing 24 Series - 2", 34 and 44 Series - 2-1/2" (3-1/2" minimum intermediate bearing).
  3. L/360 deflection is minimum by Code, L/480 is recommended for a stiffer floor system.
  4. Span charts are based on composite action (glued and nailed ¾" sheathing).
